[Denver, Colorado]: The Brain Injury Association of America released an article written by Tracie Bearden, Denver-based Speech Therapist on the risk of concussions in winter sports. This milestone is a major move for Tracie and TBI MedSLP on its mission to raise awareness and improve education about traumatic brain injuries.

“I am elated to share my knowledge to help improve awareness of the risk of concussions to prevent and mitigate the risk of traumatic brain injuries in winter sports,” says Tracie Bearden, CEO at TBI MedSLP. “Traumatic brain injuries impact millions of Americans and there just isn’t enough public education and awareness in Colorado to help improve prevention of these potentially fatal injuries.”
